I’ve been learning Houdini over the past year and wanted to pull off a simple effect with live action footage. Definitely some things I can improve on, but overall I’m pretty happy with how it came out! This was a shot I did for YouTuber Rebecca Zamolo this March. Big thanks to the production team who helped coordinate this. The modelling, texturing and sim was done in Houdini (rendered w/ Karma), composited in Nuke, and added an extra bit of color grade, glow, & camera shake in Davinci Resolve.
